Our Y is committed to providing and connecting people to essential resources and social support services. This includes our food access support, support groups, backpack drive, holiday and year-round gift giving.
This no-cost, 12-week program is designed for cancer survivors and their families to regain health, build strength, and connect with other cancer survivors. Our LIVESTRONG staff is trained in supportive cancer care to help participants safely achieve goals such as building muscle mass & strength, increasing flexibility & endurance, and regaining confidence & self-esteem.
This inclusive program was established in 2004 to recognize and meet the need for and importance of supporting children and adults with special needs and their families. More than 1,600 families have participated in the Integration Initiative where people are welcomed into all aspects of Y programs and activities. This life-changing programming and culture of inclusion provides individuals with increased independence, physical activity, social skills and self-esteem.
